Quick start

Sign in and create an API key in your dashboard.
Store the key in a server-side environment variable.
Send a POST request with a public website URL.
Save the binary response as your PDF or image.

Public testing release: PDF and screenshot rendering are connected. Account features use ChatGPT sign-in, and billing is sandbox-only. The free renderer can take about a minute to wake after inactivity. Image conversion tools run in your browser and do not have API endpoints.

Authentication

Send Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY on every API request. Keys are shown once and stored as SHA-256 hashes. You can revoke them instantly from your dashboard. Never put keys in frontend code or URL query strings.

Errors & rate limits

Errors return JSON with an error message. A successful API or signed-in web render uses one credit from the same allowance; unsuccessful renders are refunded. Browser image tools do not use render credits. Anonymous visitors can make up to five web renders per day, subject to shared network limits. Free accounts allow 10 API requests per minute, paid accounts 60. Web renders allow five requests per minute. Monthly credit limits also apply.

Page rendering is limited to 30 seconds after the renderer is ready. Waking the free service can take additional time. Full-page screenshots are capped at 16,000 pixels tall and output files at 25 MB. A request is synchronous; use a 150-second client timeout. Retrying a completed request creates another billable operation.

Results are streamed directly. There is no permanent asset URL or stored output to expire.
